ChOS Projects

ChOS projects are software/information projects which the world might be better with than without. Most ChOS projects are quite demanding, but in case some of the projects are successful they should be able to cause significant positive side effects. For example:

  1. ChOS project #20: Your Local Critical Press (encrypted, p2p, political news channel)
  2. ChOS project #1: Vote-Receipt (cryptographically secured evidence of non-"stolen" election)
Political opposition in some tyrannized countries, might like those kind of software - or what do you think?

Anyway, the currently available ChOS projects are always listed into newest version of ChOS license. Maximum number of co-existing ChOS projects is 30. Two most central projects are projects are

  1. ChOS project #18: Othernet (encrypted, distributed, 'p2p internet', with a small (anti-flooder, anti-pirate) Yellar fare for each data input)
  2. ChOS project #6: Showcase Tellus (a zoomable map of the world, displaying properties, events, things or issues of the zoomed in countries / cities). Underlying data should come from anonymous encrypted p2p network.
